DELTA SIGMA PI

Hello! Welcome to Delta Sigma Pi at Kent State University! My name is Connor Burdette, and I am the President of the Beta Pi Chapter for the Spring 2025 semester.

As we venture into this semester, I am eager and excited to serve as the President of the Beta Pi Chapter. In my role, I am determined to work diligently to uphold and improve what our fraternity stands for: brotherhood, professional development, and community service. Furthermore, our passionate brothers will support this mission.

When I finally felt prepared to start looking into joining a student organization on campus, I was very overwhelmed by the plethora of options. However, there was one organization that stood out. Delta Sigma Pi. The fraternity’s principles were not the only influential factors that led me to join Delta Sigma Pi, the motivated and welcoming brothers also guided my decision. While I pledged, it was evident I was surrounded by like-minded individuals looking to add value professionally and socially to their college experience. During my time in the fraternity, I served as the Co-Manager of Business Operations then as Senior Vice President before being elected President. I can confidently say these positions have helped me gain essential experience that will be beneficial in my future. The relationships I have built with other members in the fraternity have also influenced the trajectory of my time at Kent State. I have formed relationships with other brothers that will continue to exist after my time at college. As cliché as it sounds, joining Delta Sigma Pi has been one of the best decisions I have made. You are not just joining a student organization or a business fraternity; you are joining a brotherhood.

Taking a step back and looking at what we have achieved, I am very proud to represent the environment which Delta Sigma Pi fosters. It is dynamic and collaborative which allows all members to prepare themselves for their future careers. Whether it be a professional event or a brotherhood event, the interactions and enthusiasm expressed by our brothers define the excellence and prestige associated with Delta Sigma Pi and its brotherhood.

Together, we can make this semester one to remember. What the Beta Pi chapter can accomplish is incredible, and I strive for each member of the chapter to reach their full potential.
